The landscape design aims to unify two separate developments into one, by seizing both the preexistent natural environment and man-made landscapes. The river plays a fundamental role in this scheme, especially due to its historical value. Each of the large areas includes its own common buildings and pathways.

The Old town redevelopment focuses on the interaction f the sea with the fishing village.  The goal of the designer is to preserve the country feel however still enhancing it in a modern and commercial setting.  the ponds are inter connected to form a network of rain water collections and drains that is incorporated with the landscape design and the residential and commercial development. The hotels are situated in the river bay that is connected with timber deck and pocket gardens to enhance the experience of nature and landscape

​Water streams and ponds create common areas that are highlighted by greenery. They also divide large developments into smaller zones, that can be used for different purposes or work as smaller systems themselves.
