The Singapore Jurong Concept Master Plan was an initial sketch showing the green connector of the over all Development and how it interacts with the existing Planning
The project was to design an Art Village in a mountain reserve in China without changing the Original Landscape and the contour of the Site. The houses was strategically layout in a way that its located on a flat terrain moving along the small creek. The Main Reception was an Original structure that was kept in the design.
The landscape Design is composed of areas that are used for various usages. Decking include the public use area, that is in the front of the Show complex. The private use or public areas is contrasted from green buffers and level differences acting as zone definitions. The important of the design is focused on meeting the community needs, The Overall planning contributes to an attractive overall landscape, and capitalizes on sustainability concepts
The private areas that are outdoor living room is the extension of the interior space and connects the household to the community. The landscape design of the old Chinese village focuses at the community being a single organism that functions as one. As a result, the planning revolves on this Idea of singularity. The Asian Culture to maximize use of Landscape space, it should be easily accessible from the house and should be designed to meet the Communities needs. Often a Plaza or deck is part of this Communal area, as well as a grouping of outdoor Facilities. Consideration of Sustainable recycled materials or products made from renewable resources for Landscape elements are incorporated through out the entirety of the Development.
